Dorothea
"Dottie" Marie
Mitchell,
34, of Penn Valley died May 9, 2004, at Rideout Memorial
Hospital.
Born in Escondido, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 14 years
before moving to Penn Valley seven years ago.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Penn Valley Community
Church, where she was the sign-language interpreter.
She was a 1997 graduate of Yuba College with a business degree.
Survivors
include her husband, David

of Penn Valley; a daughter, Sheena
Mitchell
of Penn Valley; three sons, Adam
Mitchell,
Joshua
Mitchell and David L.
Mitchell,
all of Penn Valley; a stepdaughter, Jailee Garfias of
Marysville; her parents, LeRoy Flagor of Yuba City and Margaret
Flagor of Marysville; two brothers, Anthony Flagor of St.
Maries, Idaho and Robert Flagor of Catoosa, Okla.; her
grandmother,
Dorothea
Goff of Marysville; and two grandchildren.

Services: Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Holycross
Memorial Services in Yuba City. On Friday a graveside service is
scheduled at 10 a.m. at Sutter Cemetery, followed by a memorial
service with reception at 3 p.m. at Penn Valley Community
Church, Spenceville and Indian Springs roads in Penn Valley.
Pastor Keith Wells will officiate.
