Class of '84'

I hope this finds you well!

The sudden and recent passing of my father has prompted me to re-think the somewhat "plain vanilla" contribution I had previously prepared - I hope you don't mind....

My wish for all of us is that we find those people - whether from our class or within our own families that have made lasting impressions on our lives and re-connect with them.

I had no idea the number of people outside our family my father's friendship touched until the time of his passing.  I was moved and proud.  It made me realize how important friends are and how many friendships I have let slip away.

Yes, we are at the busiest times of our lives with work and children, but we should stop and take some time for ourselves to re-kindle friendships that were and are so important to us.

Life is too short -
