CONGRATULATIONS Thomas R. Ebert

Thomas R. Ebert, a Boy Scout with Troop #144 of Bellemont United Methodist Church was awarded “The Heroism Award” for saving a fellow scouts life from drowning. Thomas performed this life saving act while a Cub Scout with Pack #126 of Brookwood Baptist Church. This award is given to a youth member who has demonstrated heroism and skill in saving or attempting to save life at minimum risk to self, upon approval from the National Court of Honor. Thomas is a 1st. Class Boy Scout that has also earned his Arrow Of Light. Thomas is the son of Paul and Lisa Ebert, the grandson of Bob & Laurie Ham and Frank & Lois Ebert of Havelock, and he attends First United Methodist Church of Elon.
