Welcome back Class of 1983!
Howdy Class of ’83.
Has it really been almost 20 years! 20 years since we last graced
the halls of Havelock High School...it seems like it was not that long
ago.
As family, career and other issues currently consume every aspect
of our lives, it’s fun to look back and think about the friends we
had and the good times we spent together.
The people we were close to made our time at HHS special. This is a
chance to renew those ties and make new friends. Don’t miss this
chance to reconnect.
If you haven’t already, please take the time to get your
information on this site. It’s fun visiting with folks on the
message boards and seeing all the great pictures submitted.
The memories flood back as I read the Bio pages and the info
submitted.
Berta and Rowanne have put together a great forum for us, and the
Homecoming committee is hard at work making sure we have a great time
together. Visit the website often to keep track of the latest
happenings and to make connections with old friends early. The 20th
Reunion of the Class of ’83 has the makings of a "real big
time!"

Greetings Class of 1983
It’s hard to believe that we’re coming up on our 20-year class
reunion. I swear sometimes that it seems like yesterday when we were
running the halls of Havelock High School loving, learning, and living
out loud. Here we go again…..20 years later. Everyone’s all grown
up now (well, most) and we have a new appreciation for what life is
really all about – still loving, learning, and living out loud. I’m
talking Technicolor!!!
The terrorist attack on our country on September 11, 2001, forever
changed how we look at ourselves and the world. Sometimes being an
adult is the pits – we’re now the future that our teachers said we
would be (yikes!!) and now we explain to our children the ways of the
world as our parents did. Will we make it through our kids’ high
school years? I’m sure we will – we know all the tricks of the
trade.
This reunion is the perfect chance to catch up on everyone and
everything. Don’t miss it!! I’m sure folks will travel from near
and far to spend the weekend remembering when and making new memories.
Who have you lost touch with? Who are you most anxious to see again?
Who cares who has hair or who’s a little (or a lot) heavier? Gray
hair, what gray hair? I didn’t see any gray hairs!!!
It’s going to be the best time ever. Remember, if you don’t
show up, you can bet you’ll be on the chopping block!! Don’t wait
– sign up now. "Let’s Roll"
