Tommy Becton

We were high school sweethearts. And also married for almost 14 yrs.  I want to thank you for placing my husband's name in your memorial page of the classmate of 1983. The 28th of this month (July) marked a year since Tommy left us.

I want to give you and his fellow classmates a little more information, along with a picture of Tommy, to let you know what happen with Tommy after graduation.

Tommy joined the army in 1985 and served almost 17 yrs until his departure. He was a sergeant first class and was striving to be promoted as a first sergeant which he would have been on the primary list in 2002. Everyone who knew Tommy knew that was soon to happen. He  was a dedicated soldier but most of all the was a born again Christian. Tommy was soon to be ordain as a deacon from the church that we attain overseas (Netherlands). He traveled places such as Italy, Germany,  Netherlands, Panama, Korea, Kosovo. Louisiana, Texas, Georgia and many more. He lead a beautiful life. And we cherish every moment of his.

He left behind three children. The oldest who carries his name Tommy Craig Becton Jr. we nicked name him T.J, a daughter named Shicora Lanise Becton and the youngest who has every characteristics of his daddy named Deonte' Lamar Becton.

I also would like to submit a copy of my oldest son drawing in dedication to his father.
