WASHINGTON,
N.C. -- Mr. Robert Allen Baranczyk, 42, of 147 Ward Road, died
Friday, Oct. 15, 2004, at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in
Greenville.
A funeral service was held Monday, Oct. 18, 2004, in the chapel of
Hillside Funeral Service with Craig Hagen officiating.
Mr. Baranczyk was born Dec. 28, 1962, in Quantico, Virginia. He was
the son of Deanna Persick Baranczyk and the late Robert Joseph
Baranczyk. He was a 1982 graduate of Havelock High School, Havelock,
N.C., and had been a resident of Beaufort County since 1986. He was
employed as a mechanic with Tredegar Film Product of New Bern, N.C.
Mr. Baranczyk was a member of the Goose Creek Hunting Club and the
National Rifle Association.
Survivors include one daughter, Jessica Dawn Baranczyk of
Washington, N.C.; his mother, Deanna P. Baranczyk of Havelock N.C.;
one sister, Darlene B. Foster and her husband, John, of Chesapeake,
Va.; one niece, Ashley Foster, and one nephew, Steven Foster, both
of Chesapeake, Va.
Hillside Funeral Service of Washington, N.C. is serving the
Baranczyk family.

Christine Marie
Wolbert Bright, 40, of Emerald Isle, died Thursday, Nov. 18 as a
result of injuries suffered in a car accident on Hwy 24.
Christine was
born September 5, 1964 at the Cherry Point Naval Hospital.
She was a 1982
graduate of Havelock High School; 1985 graduate of Lenoir Memorial
Hospital School of Nursing and was a registered nurse. She last
worked in Labor and Delivery at the CP Naval Hospital, but had also
worked at Craven Regional.
She is survived
by her husband, Robert Bright, (originally from Havelock) and a
daughter, Lauren Nicole Bright, both of the Emerald Isle home.
Her parents,
Gene and Sue Wolbert of Havelock; a sister, MaryBeth Lanto (Brad) of
Cedar Point, a brother, Robert Wolbert (Tammy) of Winterville; 3
nephews Zachary Lanto and Ryan and Drew Wolbert; a paternal
grandmother, Roseanne Gallichio of Warren, Ohio.
Funeral
services were held Monday at the Pelletier Baptist Church with the
Rev. Joe Cappar officiating. The family received friends after the
committal service at the home of Mary Beth and Brad Lanto, 138
Megans Way in Cedar Point.
Donations may
be made to the Lauren Nicole Bright Trust Fund at any First Citizens
Bank.

Alisa Hickman Lee
age 39, of 302 Tallpine Road died Friday, April 25, 2003 at Craven
Regional Medical Center.
She was a 1982 graduate of Havelock High and was employed at the
Marine Corps Exchange and Food Services as a
supervisor. Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at the
Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church with Pastor Johnnie Smith Sr.
officiating. Burial was in the Hickman Family Cemetery.
She is survived by one son, Rodney Anthony Lee Jr. of the home: her
mother, Shirley Jarman Hickman White of the home: Stepfather, Freddie
L. White Jr. of New Bern; Two brothers, Memphis Lee Hickman of
Havelock and Valice Hickman of Washington D.C.; and Stepgrandmother,
Alice Jarman of Havelock.
The family received friends at the residence. The viewing was from
10am to 7pm at the Oscar's Mortuary and one hour prior to the service
at Green Chapel Church.

Mrs.
Jennifer Michelle Fulcher Mattocks
July 25, 1962-May 15, 1992
On Friday, May 25, 1992, Jennifer Michelle Fulcher Mattocks
departed this life at Carolina Medical Center, Charlotte, NC. Jennifer
was 29 years old. Jennifer was married to Jeffrey Jerome Mattocks on
April 13, 1983. She was a member of St. Matthews Church of Christ and
later united with Green Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

Diane Carolyn George
March 16, 1964-January 20, 1987
On Tuesday, January 20, 1987 at Duke Medical Center, Diane was
called to eternal rest. She was 22 years old and a victim of cancer.
In spite of her illness, Diane pursued her educational goals and in
June of 1986 received her A.A/A/S. Degree in Business Administration
from Hardbarger Junior College of Business.

November, 1997
Four years ago Nov. 14th, we lost a beloved member of the Class of
1982. Bobby Pomfret was taken from this life, but will never be taken
from our memory. His athleticism, intelligence, fun-loving personality
and kindness are ever so present in our minds and his warm smile will
forever be etched in our hearts. We love and miss you Bobby.

David Byers
December 30, 1965 - March 24, 1990
Brother of classmate Colleen Byers Crain

Paul Byers lived a bright and generous life. It was cut short in a
boating accident on March 24, 1990, in Lake Pontchartrain near
Mandeville, Louisiana. Paul left three beautiful children, David, Mary
Beth, and Sarah. He touched many lives and was loved by his parents,
his sisters and brothers and his many friends.
