Alisa Jemal Hickman attended grade school with our class including playing softball. However, most of her high school Alisa was home-schooled because of illness (Cancer).

Thank God, she was able to march with the Class of 1982.

Since she was 15 when she battled cancer in 1979, Alisa Jemal Hickman had a lifetime of life-threatening illnesses. She played the hand that was dealt her. She without question didn't get to do her aspirations but she inspired so many others. She passed away on April 25, 2003 .
